Do hip surface piercings hurt?
I know you don’t want microdermals, but I think you should reconsider them. They are WAY safer, and easier to deal with. To remove them, yes, they must make a small incision to pull it out that might leave a small scar. But, it’s almost a guarantee that surface piercings (especially on the hips) will reject which (most likely) will leave a huge, painful scar. So, just reconsider 🙂 I have had my 4 hip microdermals for almost a year now, and no problems! But, a girl I know had surface piercings on her hips and they rejected in about 3 months.
