Do Havanese dogs and Ragamuffin cats get along?
Cats and dogs do get along, and even play together, but it is more a matter of the individual animals than their breeds. A friend of mine has a pappillon dog and a stray cat she rescued, and they play and cuddle on the couch together. The best thing to do is take your dog (or cat not sure which you have already) to a friend’s house that has the other type of animal and see how your dog (cat) reacts to their cat (dog). From there, get a cat that is used to being around dogs or vice versa. It really comes down to the personality or each individual animal. Even if they are not best friends, most dogs and cats can learn to live together.
