Yes I recently got a mortgage through them and they took my child benefit, working tax, wages, child maintenance etc…. all into consideration. They look at the whole of your income no matter where it comes from. Hope this was useful.

Looking at their criteria it seems that the answer is no. However, the only way you will know for definite is to ask them. They do take Disability Living Allowance, but I dont think they will take Carers allowance, as it is not guaranteed for life.
