They can. There is no such thing as a non-allergenic dog. There are hypoallergenic dogs, meaning that most people will not be allergic to them, but there are no non-allergenic dogs. That being said, hairless dogs can be less allergenic than haired dogs. Especially the Xolo’s, Chinese Cresteds, and American Hairless Terriers. You shouldn’t run out and get one of those breeds because there is no guarantee that they’ll work for you.
