Do green tree frogs make good pets?

If I am correct the species that you are referring to is actually called the White’s Tree Frog which is completely different from a Green Tree Frog. Regardless, I highly recommend against handling any amphibian because the oils in your skin could do harm to the amphibian as they respire or breath through their skin. Any amphibian should be considered as a hands off pet only. The only time you should even attempt handling is when cleaning the enclosure or taking them to the vet which god forbid you would ever have to. But when it is needed you hould spray your hands with dechlorinated water or deionized water is even better.
