Do green june beetles bite?

If you mean Japanese Beetles,no they don’t bite.(These beetles are the ones with the iridescent green)June Bugs are not green) They eat the leaves of many plants(leaves) leaving only the skeletal remains behind.I suggest you do some research to find the best way to be rid of them for you.Personally,I can’t use any pesticides because I have free range chickens in my backyard. But the chickens sure seem to be doing quite a job with them.Through my own research I found out the beetles are specially bad this year due to the fact that its been a wet summer. It’s been perfect for the beetle larvae to mature and escape from the ground(where they’re laid and hatched from)
