Do GPS tell how many parking spots there are ?
GPS systems only tell you the best general idea of where you are by main highways, streets, and roads. Most roads including country side roads outside of cities and suburbs are marked these days. If you go to lets say a grocery store off the main road it will not show you in a parking lot. Mine just shows a dot (being me) showing where I am off the road. GPS not only helps you see where you are at any time and helps give you directions but it also is a great directory of places around the nation. If you are in an unfamiliar city and say you get a craving for Chinese food. Then you can look it up with your GPS through POI (Points of Interest) and find the closest Chinese Restaurant or if traveling always knowing where the nearest Gas Station is. GPS system are great tools for navigation. Not only can you get them as full featured hand helds but you can also get them as part of radios for your car, or on certain cell phones such as the Razr2 V9x.
