Do Germans speaking English use progressive verbs a lot?

0

It depends upon how fluent the person is. The more fluent he is, the more he will use progressive verbs. In German there is not this progressive form so Germans will say the equivalent of “I swim” etc. as they are starting to learn and become more comfortable using English.
