Do geologists/geophysicists earn good money?
It depends on who you work for. Geo-sciences earn major bucks working for mining and oil companies. It also depends on what you specialize in, I know guy who works with ground penetrating sonar. He looks for profitable mineral deposits and makes about 60 thousand a year. A woman I know who works for the government (USGS) I believe makes around 37 grand a year.
