Do garden gnomes talk to the household cat?
I often look out of my window at day break, and see the cat trying to knock over all my ornimental gnomes with her paws. Generally, she screeches hysterically and tries to smash my poor little ornaments. Naturally, I try to restrain her (with difficulty. I really must take her to the vets to have those claws trimmed) but even when she’s in the house she sits at the window and glares at the gnomes. I don’t really see any logic in it. But…well, once I thought I saw a gnome’s eyes turn red. And another time, I did hear knocking on my window at night, and a voice going, “Here ***** ***** *****…”. But I suspect I’m imagining it.
