Do gangs ever use machine guns or bazookas in acts of crime?

There are all sorts of fully automatic weapons (“machine guns”) available illegally on the street. But bazookas aren’t, at least not like the one used by the U.S. in WWII. Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) launchers, which are modern-day bazookas, are another kettle of fish, however. Although I am not aware of any domestic gangs gaining possession of them and using them in local crimes, it is not unimaginable that they could. After all, if the insurgents in Iraq can get their hands on them, a determined gang might be able to do the same here.
