Do Ganglion cysts get bigger?
Yes with Time they get bigger. If the roots are in the nerves it can cause numbness. Many times they feel Very hard, Grow in the hand, wrist or arm. They also can grown the the chest area. Most of the time it is genetic. If you get one, there is a chance you can get another one. My Cyst got bigger slowly, and causes my hand to get numb, it was removed and everything else was great. I have read hitting it with a BIG BOOK is suppose to LIKE pop it, but I never found this to work, and just hurts. My sister also had a HUGE cysts in her collar bone. Which took many years to grow. All of this over all is GROSS, I can say I feel your pain.
