Do fussy babies turn into toddlers that throw tantrums?
No. If your baby is fussy from food allergies, he’s complaining because he’s uncomfortable. Toddler’s tend to throw tantrums because they know what they want but can’t make themselves understood. The two aren’t necessarily linked. I’ve been teaching my baby sign language for the last several months and now that she’s almost 15 months it is really starting to pay off in terms of behavior. Whenever she sets herself down to cry I ask her to tell me what’s wrong, when she knows the sign and I can help her, she is immediately better, even when I have to say no to her request.
