Do fridge magnets make me waste more electricity?
No, they don’t use any of the refrigeration energy, but they are an excellent dietary aid. They suck the calories right out of the cold food especially if it stored in the door. If your photos start sliding down it means the magnets are full and have to be placed in the sun to remet-ala-bulize. I have noticed that when the refrigerator magnets are holding pictures up by the high calorie meat compartment , they slide down faster than the ones down by the vegetable bin.
