Do free-masons believe in Illuminatis existence among them?

Illuminated philosophy certainly didn’t die out in the eighteenth century.  Many of the ideas of the so called "Bavarian Illuminati" were advanced well beyond 1776.  So much so, George Washington is well known to have spoken of their "infiltration" of Freemasonry.  The Illuminati still thrive today, and often publicly, in Rosicrucian orders.  How many are Freemasons is unknown, but the Illuminist philosophy today is largely altruistic and positive.  No NWO types, that’s just hype to sell conspiracy theory DVD’s.

Certainly not. A Freemason believes in the existence of a ‘Supreme Being’ and much of their teaching relates to the moral principles given for guidance in the Bible and other religious texts. But it is not, in itself, a religion.
