Do foreign drug manufactures make different pills(i.e. shapes, colors, no imprint code)?
Yes, foreign manufacturers (non-US) make many medications without unique imprint codes. In the US, all meds have some unique markings except OTC supplements and vitamins. From my research, sometimes there is nothing on a foreign pill at all. Many times I’ve seen a “white, round pill” description that could be anything from aspirin to serious medications. It’s not possible to ID something with no imprints, especially a foreign med. A lab test is the only way to determine what an unmarked pill is.
