Do ford company compensate for fixing steering weel lock up?

i own a repair shop, and you might try moving the wheel a little bit to see if that allows the key to turn on it,,there made to lock up, but sometimes they will lock up if there in a bind and they can be hard to get to unlock,,this is what i think has happened to your car you can try it,,it shouldn’t need a new key switch yet its really not old enough to be worn out,but if it is defective it may still be covered by your warranty on the car, good luck i hope this help,s.
