The antimicrobial activity of Flaminal® Hydro and Forte is enzyme based. This is a different mechanism to that of antibiotics and it has no resistance. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, as well as multi-resistant strains of P. aeruginosa will be absorbed in the Alginogel® structure of Flaminal® Hydro/Forte and thereupon be killed by the enzymes present in Flaminal® Hydro and Forte.
