Ferns do have vascular tissue. It is from the Phylum Pterophyta, ie seedless vascular plants. It has all the makings of a plant with vascular system, ie rhizome and roots for absorbing water and nutrients; both xylem and phloem for transportation of water and nutrients; and leaves for expelling excess water.
