Do fennec foxs make good pets?
The first time I saw a picture of one I wanted it for a pet. However they require a lot of time and energy, and a really good kennel. I hear they get into everything and are escape artists. They do not smell as bad as other foxes and because they are a desert fox, don’t need as much water and therefore don’t urinate a lot. They are difficult to housetrain, too. So, I decided to stick with dogs and cats. Remember, usually wild animals are not good as pets. They will always be wild. Live well and do good. Be sure to research very carefully. There are breeders and keepers–see websites below: www.fennecfoxes.net/breeders.html exoticpets.about.
