Yes, feminists think of others. But part of being a feminist is defending and supporting women’s rights, since there IS an unfairness regarding women’s rights. A man can go have a vasectomy if he chooses to with his own body, but a woman has to jump through all kinds of hoops when it comes to her wanting control over her own body. A woman cannot go and have her tubes tied to prevent unwanted pregnancy if she just chooses to. Did you know that? It’s true. Women are not allowed to have tubes tied or have a hysterectomy on her own free will if she wants. A surgeon will not tie a woman’s tubes unless she is under 30 years old or until she has had kids already! A surgeon will not perform a hysterectomy unless there is a medical need for it (cancer, polyps, bleeding problems…) Men have freedom over their reproductive organs without stipulations and that is an unfairness to women. As for “going to war and getting killed or maimed,” you can thank sexist, egotistical men for not allowing wome
