Mounting of one female by another is a dominance thing! Whenever you put a new group of guinea pigs together or often when one of the animals in a group has a life change like reaching maturity or feeling poorly you see a competition to decide who is, as it were, boss hog! Sometimes it happens for no reason that we humans can detect but which is important to them!
