Do female bunnies have a menstrual cycle, and if so, do they bleed?
According to what I could find on the Internet, female rabbits [or ‘doe’] do not have a menstral cycle, rather undergo something closer to the mammalian estrous cycle: “Females of other mammalian species go through certain episodes called ” (Applies to nonhuman mammals: a state or period of heightened sexual arousal and activity) estrus” [as opposed to a menstrual cycle] or “heat” in each breeding season.
