They only hibernate (or brumate, as it’s called for snakes) in the wild in places that get really cold (like New Jersey) but not in places like Florida. In captivity, they don’t need to hibernate unless you plan on breeding them that year, babies should never be brumated. They will go into brumation depending on how you keep the temperatures, that’s how breeders can induce their snakes to brumate. Corn snakes, like all snakes, are secretive. They hide, are anti-social, and don’t want attention from humans or other snakes. It’s not uncommon to not see her moving around outside of her hide much. However, if she’s always in the same hide, that could be a problem. You should have one at each end of the tank (one heated end and one at room temperature) so that she can regulate her body temperature. She should go from one to the other depending on if she needs to be a little hotter or colder. If she’s always at the heated hide, make it a little warmer (move it up one or two degrees only). If
