Do fathers still have a right to a child if their name isnt on the birth certificate?
Technically, a father has no rights to a child unless the mother agrees to it or they have a DNA test done to prove paternity. Don’t listen to what these other people are saying. Men can act all proper until their girl gets knocked up and then that all goes out the window. The best bet would be to serve child support, which will result in a paternity test and then you can work on visitation. If you can prove him unfit, then you could possibly get visitation revoked or lessened. NO, children don’t deserve the crap parents they get and shouldn’t have to suffer with these people in their lives. You can’t really keep him from smoking around her, unless she has asthma but if she soils herself when she is with him, something is definitely not right there.
