Do families teach their children to hate and bully Gypsies?
It is a mixture of parents spreading ignorance, and a minority of the group making the rest of the group look bad. Most of the travellers/gypsies around where I live, go and live in parts they are not supposed to, they make a mess, refuse to leave, and steal from and harm people who live nearby. But then again, a lot of the people that live in the houses do criminal things as well. It’s just about some making it hard for all of them. And it doesn’t help when parents experience one bad experience with travellers, then assume they’re all bad and spread this on to their children. There’s nothing you can do about it, just prove that you aren’t like that sterotype and get respect as an individual and make the group you represent proud.
