No! Any render mix that you would apply by hand can be applied with Rendergun. Sand and cement render, lime render, insulated renders, Tyrolean, wet pebbledash, whatever type of mix or render you want to apply, all can all be put on the wall much more quickly and efficiently with Rendergun than is possible by hand! However if required, Rendergun enables you to achieve thinner or thicker coatings than are obtainable by hand.
