Do Everyone that has braces have the spacer thinggy ?
Not every body has what your talking about. The spacer thing is actually called an appliance, or it is also just a wire running across the roof of your mouth. I just had my braces taken off and I never need an appliance but I did have a wire with a horse shoe shape bend in the center of it. Spacers are the rubber bands that are put in between your to space out your teeth in order to put metal bands around your teeth The appliance on the roof of the mouth is used to either widen or pull your jaw together. And not every body will need and appliance for the entire time they have braces.
