Do event liability policies automatically provide workers comp insurance?Do event liability policies automatically provide workers comp insurance?
Unfortunately, they do not. You can apply for worker’s comp separately, under our Liability Insurance menu, and we will provide you with a quote. Alternatively, you can elect to include performer coverage in your policy (you are asked this question on the application). This will cover up to $5,000 in medical expenses (per occurrence) for any injury to performers while they are in performance. This additional coverage will not cover injury to non-performing independent contractors or employees that are working on your event unless they are volunteers.
