Do ESL (English as a Second Language) programs have application deadlines?
Some schools, especially university-based English programs, have an application deadline and stop receiving student applications after a specific date. Before applying to an English program, realistically consider all the necessary steps that will be required to process your application in terms of obtaining your student visa, sending your financial statement and, if you do not already have one, applying for a passport. Since it can take up to four weeks to process all the required documents, we strongly suggest you apply at least 8 to 10 weeks prior to the starting date of your English course.
