Do energy and environmental engineers have good jobs scopes?
Hi there, I studied environmental engineering in college and grad school. I’m working now for the Department of Energy doing green energy projects. I’d say both environmental engineering and energy have always been stable and growing, as more and more people realize that pollution and climate change are big problems that need addressing. In terms of scope, there are so many different aspects of both fields that you can take your pick. In energy, there are all sorts of systems that save energy or produce clean energy. In environmental engineering, much of it is based on cleaning up pollution or preventing it. You can work in the research and development side, where you come up with these technologies, or you can work more on the project side, to figure out how best to take these technologies and put them in place. Right now, the Department of Energy is updating its many sites with green energy systems. Renewables like wind, solar and geothermal are being installed and equipment like air
