Do employers recognise the Monash College diploma?
Your Monash College Diploma is the equivalent of 1st year university. As such it provides a higher level of academic attainment than VCE. The strength of your results, the desired job and your prior experience are all measures of employability. What you put into your program and the other experiences you have will also impact on your future success. When I enrolled I thought I was guaranteed a Monash University place. Your guarantee for entry into Monash University was for a full-fee place and was always dependent on your academic results. Students with higher academic results were always able to apply for CSP. The Commonwealth Government’s policy regarding the removal of Full-fee undergraduate places at Australian universities has made entry now more competitive. The grade point average (GPA), therefore, now required for entry into Monash University has been increased from the previous full-fee level to the current CSP level.
