Not all emo kids cut themselves. Another important note is that not all kids who are told they are emo think they are emo. See, I apparently am emo. I have all the major charateristics of an emo person. But I don’t think of myself that way.

Yes EMO do cut themselves we do it not because we think it is cool but because it makes us forget the emotional pain ppl put us through also because what ever ppl do to us mentally we do it to ourselves physically

I know people that self injure that dress in the emo fashions and/or listen to emo music, but I know more self injurers that do not. I also know many people that dress in emo fashion/listen to emo music that do not self injure. Just like the general population, some emos do self injure, but most do not.
