Do emergency personnel have to subscribe to the OnFile service to access my account information?

0

No. Only you need to subscribe to the OnFile service. In an emergency situation any medical providers with access to the Internet can log in to your account using the Member ID and the Emergency PIN printed on your OnFile Card. Unlike other systems, physicians do not need any special equipment or have to be members themselves to access the OnFile service. Note that entry through the Emergency Login only gives medical personnel the ability to review your file, not to add to it or make changes to your profile. Only your Member ID and Personal PIN may authorize changes.
