Do ELGs only address early literacy and early math concepts?
GSGS asks States and Territories to specifically address early literacy and early math concepts of children ages 3-5, but many States have developed guidelines that address other domains of development, such as social-emotional development and physical development. Some States also have developed guidelines for children birth to 5 years of age. • The Child Care Bureau (CCB) in the Administration for Children and Families at HHS administers the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF). In FY 2004, the CCDF made available $4.8 billion in Federal funding to subsidize child care for low-income working parents and improve the quality of child care for all families who use child care.
