Do Electric Skateboards need to be Serviced?
The beauty of Electric Skateboards is that they have a very simple setup. There is no complex petrol motor, carburetor or exhaust. Mostly they are highly reliable. Typical maintenance would involve, Cleaning & oiling the bearings, ensuring the drive belt is firm, adjusting the suspension. These are all 5min tasks which can be completed easily. Likely long term maintenance may involve replacing a battery. Please note that Batteries may deteriorate faster when exposed to extreme cold or heat or if they are not fully run down.
