Do EGGER products carry a marking ?
Yes, all EGGER products have got the marking since the beginning of May 2003. EGGER even started to mark its products one year earlier than required by law. marking means representation of the conformity of products with EU directives for safety and health of the consumers. This is a declaration of the manufacturer that the products correspond with the legal regulations -> conformity certificate. The inspection is made by “Notified Bodys” (e.g. WKI) that the internal control of the plant is made according to the regulations of the construction products directive. Every construction product for which there is a “harmonised European standard” (hEN) or a guideline for a European technical approval has to be marked.
