Do earthquakes happen at both constructive and destructive plate boundaries?

Earthquakes occur at all three boundary types. Convergent are your “destructive” boundaries, Divergent are your “constructive,” and transform typically do neither. Earthquakes result as the release of pressure and tension that can build along these boundaries, their frequency of occurrence may be related to many different factors such as: rock type, spreading frequency, available material, etc… The only difference between divergent and convergent boundaries that I can think of is depth of the focus point (or where the earthquake originated). Convergent boundaries typically have deeper foci and divergent boundaries are shallower. The magnitude of strength between the two is debatable.
