Do Dunlop D220 tires suck?
Hi Gary, I asked a fellow FJR owner what his and his wife’s favorite tires were and he emailed me the following response. “Tires are Dunlop D220 Sport Touring , over all , all the miles we’ve road , these gave us the best for the money. Have used every type of tire on the market over the last 25 years and some were free, but I went back to Dunlop.” I will need to replace my original Metzler Z6 tires soon and am considering the D220’s since the cost is so low. But, I am also thinking about getting the Michelin PR2’s since it seems like the handling is better and the mileage is also better on the PR2’s. I have a couple weeks to think about it.
