Do dreams disrupt sleep?
Well,I say that to answer your questions properly we should first analyze a few things. The first and most important is to see if a dreaamless sleep it’s of a good quality and after that we can take this aa a relay to understand how dreams can affect a good night sleep. As you know(I suppose that) a night sleep has 3 stages, the dreams ocuring only in the third,so 2/3 of a night sleep can not be affected by dreams of any kind. But of course vivid and nightmare dreams can affect the quality of a sleep very much.As you know when somebody has a nightmare,he wakes up in a bad shape, and many times it happens to prevent him from falling to sleep again. In vivid dreams the most important aspect we must take in consideration,is that they usualy make somebody feel better when they wake up(it depends because of the content involved in a dream). So in conclusion I can say that dreams affect only a third of one’s sleep and that the quality depends on the content of the dream.
