Do dove test on animals?
Okay, here’s the dealio. The Dove website says that they are committed to ending testing on animals and that no health and beauty products are tested on animals blah blah blah Buy soap blah blah blah … However, check out the PETA site (caringconsumer.com) and you’ll find a different story. Dove’s parent company is Unilever and yes, they do apparently test on animals. No less an intellect than PAMELA ANDERSON has weighed in on this topic. In a letter to Unilever, she declines to be a spokesperson/model/jigglebunny for AXE products (also made by Unilever) because they test on animals. That letter was written in 2007.
