Do dogs really need vaccines every year?

They need a physical every year along with blood test and heart worm medication. As for the rabbies, and DHPPC it varies from state to state, in the state I live in my dogs need them every three years(they need 2 sets of shots the first time though) and the Lyme is optional but if you get it it is every year. In the state one of my sisters live in all shots are yearly, it depends on the level of risk in your area. Check with your vet and they can let you know. You could also try getting her shots on different visits, like rabbies one week go another week for her others, some times that can help with side effects.
