Do Doctors Hate Chiropractors?
An interesting question, don’t you agree? I ask it, because an article called “Why Doctors Hate Chiropractors” came across my monitor. Written by a chiropractor (meaning – we need to realize that it’s at least partially self-serving) it explains that MDs (medical doctors) are skeptical of DCs (doctors of chiropractic medicine) because DCs don’t write prescriptions. According to the article, many MDs believe any form of treatment to relieve pain must involve drugs to be effective. Further, some doctors will tell us that chiropractic treatment can be dangerous because it involves manipulation of the spine, and could potentially cause further problems, or even a stroke.
