Do DGs talk to girls outside of Delta Gamma?
Yes. While being in Delta Gamma will help you identify yourself as an individual, it will not become your identity. All Delta Gammas are Miami Hurricanes and have friends that are not Greek or possibly in another sorority. All seven sororities make up the Panhellenic Association which promotes constant camaraderie among the sororities. Many girls have roommates that are in other sororities and remain best friends throughout college. How can I convince my parents to let me join? Your parents will appreciate the fact that 85% of student leaders on campus are Greek. Being in Delta Gamma helps you grow, become involved, and become aware of other opportunities outside of our sorority, even outside of college. They can rest assured knowing that we have a successful big sister/little sister program that helps new members transition into the chapter and make you feel comfortable.
