If the tile on the vertical wall of a pre-10/01/99 pool is being replaced depth markers must be installed that comply with the requirements for depth markers on post-10/01/99 pools. [25 TAC Chapter 265.199(d)(5)] If deck depth markers are being replaced they must be replaced with markers that comply with the requirements for depth markers on post-10/10/99 pools and spas. [25 TAC Chapter 265.199(d)(5)] Spas are not required to have vertical wall depth markers. [25 TAC Chapter 265.
