Do Denicool Pipe Crystals make a cooler, drier smoke and reduce tongue bite?
A. Since moisture and heat are the primary causes of painful tongue bite and other oral irritations, anything that decreases these two factors will certainly help reduce any related discomforts. I have never used Denicool Pipe Crystals, but I have heard many good reports about them. Some folks insist the crystals alter the taste of the tobacco, and others seem to think they make no real difference in cooling the smoke. But the majority of users speak quite positively about the Denicool Crystals (and similar products like “Keystones” by Erik Nording). Having said that, keep in mind that while filters and other absorption devices are helpful, proper smoking technique is always the best way to avoid an excessively hot smoke and tongue bite.
