Do Degree Progress Reports replace advising?
Degree progress reports do not replace advising. Advisors enhance the advising process by providing timely information about academic programs. Your report tracks all required course, as well as other degree requrements so that your advisor can spend less time in manual record-keeping and more time helping you plan your academic goals. It is a good idea to bring your degree progress report when you consult with your advisor. If you ever see a requirement remaining or a course that isn’t applying correctly, please contact your advisor for clarification.
