Do decks get slippery when wet?

No! Algae, lichens or other build up of plant growth can make any outdoor surface slippery when wet. To avoid build up on your deck, brush it regularly to clear it of any dead leaves, and build up of plant growth. To get it really clean it is recommended that you give it a blast with a pressure washer all over once or twice a year. This will not harm your deck at all.
