Do darker canvas colours fade faster than lighter colours?

The canvas we use has excellent uv resistance, and resists fading well. We have found that the darker colours do not fade faster than the lighter ones. The canvas will fade slightly over time, but keeping it clean and maintaining the waterproofing certainly helps it last much longer.
