Do Danes eat a lot?
As puppies, they eat more than most and continue to do so through their rapid growth spurts. Their demands are different due to the fact that they are a large breed of dog. I find that once they reach maturity their intake is not much more than a shep or a rottie. All dogs must be looked at differently because the individual activity level of each is a factor in how much it eats. The purchase of a puppy should not be based on how much does it eat.
